The V1R Copper to Fibre PoE powered Ethernet module is designed to convert 10GBASE-T to 10GBASE-LR. It is to be selected for installations where customer are using single core, Single-Mode Fibre Cabling. It has a reach of 20KM reach and pairs with the V1R-10G-BXU-20KM or an MSA Certified SFP+ that has a data rate of 10GBASE-LR @ TX1330nm/RX1270nm.

When pairing BiDi Modules the TX and the RX must be opposing. A link will not be established if the modules wavelengths are the same. The V1R-10G-BXD-20KM wavelengths are TX1270nm/RX1330nm.

The Module can either be powered by a PoE powered port or via the USC-C port. Additional accessories are available for customers that have tight space requirements.
