The V1R Copper to Fibre PoE powered Ethernet module is designed to convert 5GBASE-T to 5000BASE-X. It is be selected for installations where customer are using single core, Single-Mode Fibre Cabling.  It has a reach of 20KM and pairs with the V1R-5G-BXU-20KM.

For Point-to-Point connections customers must purchase the V1R-5G-BXU-20KM module, otherwise a link will not be be established. This module is unable to pair with any SFP/SFP+ transceivers due to the data rate difference.

The Module can either be powered by a PoE powered port or via the USC-C port. Additional accessories are available for customers that have tight space requirements.
