The V1R Copper to Fibre PoE powered Ethernet module designed to convert 5GBASE-T to 5GBASE-SR. It is be selected for installations where customer are using Dual-Core Multi-Mode Fibre Cabling.  It has a reach of 300 Meter (1000ft) reach and can connect to another V1R-5G-MMF-300M module. There are no MSA Certified  SFP's or devices with SFP ports that are rated at 5Gbps so customers are required to purchase 2 x modules for Point-To-Point links. 

The Module can either be powered by a PoE powered port or via the USC-C port. Additional accessories are available for customers that have tight space requirements.
